2023 Lineup

Manawatu band FERAL will be performing on the Saturday Night Live Camp Fest stage.
Feral is a good time, three piece kiwi rock outfit coming in off the farm for this show. You got it – guitar (Grant), drums (Clint) and bass (a hitchhiker they picked up on the way to the gig maybe?). With their fresh take on classic tunes and some home grown bangers these boys will give you plenty to boogie too if you make it to dance mode!
Feral is out last act for the night on the Camp Fest stage. With strict instructions to keep it fairly family-camp friendly the Feral boys are looking forward to giving their Marshall stack a work out and showing you what Manawatu lads get up to on the weekend!
Pip Payne - Performing live on the Saturday Night Live Camp Fest stage.
Pip has been a stalwart of the Wellington blues scene for decades and held in high regard for his authentic blues performance. In the tradition of the early blues players his “one man one guitar” music is all about texture and drive in a unique style all his own. With both acoustic and resonator guitars, ‘stomp box’ and slide Pip’s rhythm-led performance will have you tapping toes and getting your groove on in no time. This boy has got the beats for sure!
Originally from the UK Pip now lives in Sunny Otaki and can be found performing all around the North Island venues, events and festivals.

It is very exciting to announce that Carylann will be performing on the Saturday Night Live Camp Fest Stage.
Life is a musical highway taking Carylann (Martin) all over this land, from Kaitaia to Bluff!
A multi-talented musician and song writer Carylann has wowed audiences at many festivals and events throughout
New Zealand. Well known for her powerful lead vocals and skill playing keys and ‘squeeze box’, Carylann has worked successfully
in the professional music industry most of her life, playing a huge variety of gigs and featuring live several times on

Bulls local Patrick McKenna will be performing on the Saturday Night Live Camp Fest Stage in THE BITTEROOTS duo.
Patrick, who recently opened his latest bookshop in Bulls, will bring his infectious brand of warm, relaxed Americana music. It’s an enjoyable easy listening mix of folk, country and blues honed over 50 years in the entertainment business performing around NZ, in Australia and South Africa. Pat has had some success as a song writer and you’ll hear his own tunes in the mix. His recent Bands include The Rockafellas, The Honeytruckers. The Dodge Brothers. And of course his memorable solo performances.
Pat is appearing at Camp Fest 2023 as “The Bitterroots” alongside his good buddy Darryl from Whanganui on drums. These boys are all ready to fire up our family-friendly Saturday evening.

We are delighted to announce that
Karen Clarke Blues Woman will be performing on the Saturday Night Live Camp Fest stage.
Karen Clarke is one of New Zealand’s fine homegrown indie blues women.
With 25 years of live performance and two albums under her belt she's well and truly earned her piece of the heartland acoustic music stage. Taranaki represent!
It's pretty clear from the get go you are in safe hands at the gig. Mama's got you! K.C's power-packed performance is strong. Grounded. Built. Emotionally direct. Her strong sometimes silky sometimes sultry smoky vocal over driving rhythm guitar commands regard. She is firmly rooted where R'nB and Alt- Country collide. You'll detect a dalliance with folk and jazz too. Fans enjoy hints of Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Michelle Shocked and Tracey Chapman in Karen's mahogany vocal palette as she channels Sister Loretta Tharp's 'mother of blues' on stage determination.
Blending undeniable original work and upcycled favourites Karen brings upbeat or ambient entertainment for festivals, bars, cafes, events and private functions. You'll remember you've met.
Karen is also an All Points Camping Club NZ member and has been motorhoming for yonks!
